How will the current Lodging Controls products be affected?
MOP, our award-winning operations and hotel automation platform, will remain available to all current and future customers. We’re honored to have been chosen as a brand standard by La Quinta Inns and Suites by Wyndham, and by Choice Hotels Clarion Pointe properties. MOP, which works on any device to facilitate automated task management, housekeeping and maintenance, and has advanced capabilities such as guest interaction and Alexa voice integration, is an important part of our customers’ businesses, and we remain committed to delivering the very best product available on the market.
All currently supported property management systems will continue to be supported, including Choice Advantage, Skytouch, Opera, and more. Lodging Controls customers and MOP users will not lose any functionality or integration they are currently taking advantage of. MOP may also continue to be used as a standalone product for hotels with no PMS integration.
Deeper features and integrations will be coming soon, including a full integration to the Visual Matrix Property Management System. Visual Matrix PMS is a technology leading property management and automation system that offers cloud and desktop systems to over 2,000 hotels worldwide. They offer integrations to all major channels along with revenue management and other features that make operating a hotel easier and more profitable. Visual Matrix is the PMS of choice for over 1,500 Best Western hotels as well as hundreds of other hotels and brands.
Will there be any changes to the current service level or existing customer contacts?
The Lodging Controls team remains available and committed to your success as a property owner and valued client. The same dedicated team of professionals is remaining in place to ensure the continued success of Lodging Controls, MOP, and your property. Current and future clients can be assured that Lodging Controls joining the Visual Matrix and ASG family gives us a solid foundation to build even more on our already industry-leading commitment to service and support.
Will my pricing or contract with Lodging Controls be affected?
All current pricing and contracts remain unchanged. All current customer contracts and pricing are still in effect.
What benefits will MOP customers achieve with this change in ownership?
Access to a larger team to develop features and support customers along with preferred pricing for any hotel that uses both MOP and Visual Matrix PMS. The MOP team will now have access to more technology resources (developers, support and others) to accelerate enhancements and continue to innovate to support hotel operations and communications. The MOP team will still be here but will now have the ability to share resources with a larger company and will have access to growth capital to continue building out features and integrations to help hoteliers. Also, any MOP customer that currently uses Visual Matrix PMS can take advantage of the new integration and preferred pricing to lower the cost of maintaining both systems and achieve even greater savings on precious time for operation’s teams.
